Family Legacy Video Pricing:

Basic Package:

Pricing starts at $500 for a completed video. Recording of interview lasts up to a half hour (each extra 15 minutes of recording costs an additional $50) This includes a single 4k camera setup, a key light and bounce fill (for any unwanted shadows). Audio will be recorded via a single lavalier mic. The edit will include basic wide and tight cuts to hide mistakes or long pauses by the person being interviewed. A simple lower 3rd title will be at the beginning of the video showing the interviewees name and any credentials they wish.

Upgraded Package:

Pricing starts at $850 for a completed video. Recording of interview lasts up to a full hour (each extra 15 minutes of recording costs an additional $50). This package includes everything that the basic does with the addition of an extra camera (provides a different camera angle). A hair light will be added to the scene to create more separation between the talent and background (looks more cinematic). Audio will be a professional boom mic to capture more voice frequency (more warm and natural sounding than the lavalier mic).

“The Works” Package:

Pricing starts at $1450 for a completed video. This includes everything the other packages include, with the addition of recording lasting up to two hours (each extra 15 minutes of recording costs an additional $50). It also includes an extra camera operator to ensure the best results possible from both cameras. A hair and makeup stylist is also included to help your loved one look their absolute best. Special lighting setups include the addition of background accent lighting in addition to the 3-point setup (key, fill, & hair lights) to make this interview as fantastic looking and future proof as possible. We can also setup a backdrop if the space available to you isn’t what you want to show. Two weeks notice is needed to schedule the extra crew for the interview. 

Optional “b-roll” Package:

We can edit any of your video or photos into the interview and this service is available for all the other packages. While most videos/photos you provide should work just fine, content will need to meet certain resolution and frame rate requirements or it will either not look right or just not work due to incompatibility issues. A good guideline is to keep everything above 1920x1080 pixels and anything below 640x480 pixels will be excluded. Pricing is charged by the hour for editing ($50) and typically a half-hour interview will require 4 to 8 hours to edit in the additional b-roll, depending on complexity.
